No one in the world can change your mind - your comparison isn't fair enough for anybody besides you to use.

I used to hate Apple a lot, but their on screen keyboard is amazing, the OS it runs on is great (You can have multiple browsers running, can your Windows Mobile do that?), etc. Yes, there isn't a copy/paste that I know of. You can unlock it without too much trouble - I have maybe 4 or 5 friends that have done it. Apple released the SDK and so you shouldn't even need to unlock it in the future once things get developed.

Overall, if you like your Tilt, BlackJack, etc., then great, but there's a reason the iPhone made the cover of time, and an Apple hater like me switched over.

A few of my friends have iPhones, the on screen keyboard is only amazing if amazing means misses every other fucking letter I type. It's a gimmick. And by unlock I don't mean unlock for installing apps, I mean unlock as in take the phone with me overseas and use a native SIM card. It is a lot of trouble, every new software update locks it back up, and in some cases bricks it. And yes, I can run multiple browsers with my Windows Mobile; I can even run Opera and IE at the same time if I wish, can you?

I don't hate Apple, I've got two iPods, and I'd probably consider a MacBook Pro for my next laptop (with XP or Vista, of course). The iPhone is an overpriced POSphone, just like the RAZR was. The RAZR cost $500 some dollars when it came out and my $100 V600 matched it feature for feature, and was more durable. Function over form for me.

I have a WinMO device and it's pathetic, Windows Mobile is like Windows 95 retarded Special Ed little brother. I've had to totally reset my phone 3 times, and I don't do anything crazy on it.

OSX whips the shit out of WinMO and once the 3rd party app's really start rolling for iPhones WinMO will be even more of a joke.

and to mrSHEiK124 you can run POCKET IE & Opera Mobile at the same time, iPhone people can't but why would they want to? 100 crippled broswers open at the same time don't touch one copy of Safari running. sorry but Pocket IE is total garbage, and Opera is only slightly better. Keep your shitty pocket IE kthx!

You can get a Tilt without a camera. Yes by default it has a camera but can be ordered without one.

Can't do that with an iphone.

So lets go back to Tilt versus iPhone.

Tilt Battery life: I get about 2-3 days when actually using it for things like email/browsing.

iPhone Battery life: Wife gets a solid 4-5 days doing the same tasks.

Screen: Tilt you almost have to use the stylus. The screen just sucks. iPhone is absolutely great.

Never needed copy and paste.

Yep Tilt does have 3G. Oh but guess what? If you use 3G for a day, dead battery. So yeah it has 3G but I turn it off because I need to actually have my phone keep a charge for more than 1 day.

No one bricks their iphone anymore unless they so something stupid. Takes 5 minutes to jailbreak.

Real keyboard is overrated.

User experience, Tilt sucks, iPhone rocks. After dealing with the tilt, I would rather go back to a flip phone. But since work just got me the Tilt, don't think they would be happy if I did that.

Oh yeah, the tilt is HUGE.

As much as I dislike the iphone, it does do one great thing once at&t loses its exclusive rights. Right now carriers control what phones are made and what you can have. You get forced into contracts to save on phones that really are not that great to start with. That is NOT how the system should work. Thats like ISP's selling you a "discounted" laptop to sign up for 3 years of cable internet access.

You should buy what phone you want, and then sign up for what service you want. Phone quality will drastically improve as well.

I can browse the desktop edition of YouTube, can you? I can open the desktop edition of Facebook, can you? Opera Mobile is far from crippled, and calling Safari [Mobile] a full featured OS is a huge overstatement. I don't know why you've had to reset your phone 3 times, both my BlackJack (Windows Mobile 5), and BlackJack II (Windows Mobile 6) were both only reset once by having to remove the battery, and that's because of my own error and running a Pocket PC app that crashed the phone.

I can get OEM batteries for $15 and swap them right out. How much do new batteries cost you and how long does it take again ?

And I use HSDPA here in Tampa daily with my BlackJackII, I can go two days and still have another bar left in the battery.

i would love to have a iphone but SERO is the best plan ever..

Windows Mobile 6/6.1 is a POS. It can be powerful, but its extremely slow and requires a lot of tweaking. Yeah.. being able to tether my sprint connection is awesome.. but the iphone interface is so much better.

I'm waiting for google android to be ported onto my htc vogue

even stock, a palm os centro/755p can take on the iphone.
with 3rd party apps, it can pretty much do anything you can think of.
