Dolan is an idiot though and couldn't deal with the idea of a coach like Phil Jackson working under him.
Idiots everywhere are insulted by this.

Preferred D'Antoni over PJax? That's pretty crazy
D'Antoni's system needs a very particular set of players to work, I don't know if the Lakers have the right players for that. The Lakers aren't playing any defense, and D'Antoni is most definitely an offense minded coach.
Would like to see it work though, because I like D'Antoni. Him and the Suns got hosed by David Stern in the 2006 playoffs (might not have the year right, but you know what I mean, against the Spurs.)
As a Knicks fan, I hated it when they signed D'Antoni, and I knew he was going to fail. I don't know why he's such a big deal, and I expect him to fail with the Lakers too.

You should've been really mad when they signed Melo. His arrogance and selfishness will not get the knicks anywhere.
Heck, until they get rid of him....expect them to be "just another team to run over" in the play offs.
You're never going to win with Amare down low. If I were a Knicks fan I would be praying that he somehow stays out all season.
WTFBBQ????? why would D'Antoni throw is career and reputation away???? what and IDIOT....
Get a chance at a championship, plus Nash being there definitely made his decision easy.
As long as the scum of the earth Kobe is playing there is no hope for that team, and then they added another douchebag, Dwight, I would not look that way even if the NBA commissioner signed me the guarantee of championship... mark my words, we will talk again in April-May '13
lol Haters: An eternal source of humor.
Interesting, I'd like to see the link to that.
Say what you want to, I think that's the reason why Phil Jackson didn't return...
It would be amazing if the Lakers could flip Pau for someone like Josh Smith. I just don't see what Atlanta would get out of it.
