This. I think analogue is a better visual representation as well than a bunch of numbers.

Partially, but that's more a correlation than causation. Most analog watches are metal, and have metal or leather bands. Digital watches, on the other hand, are generally reserved for sports and outdoor activities, and thus often use cloth bands and don't go very well with your jacket and tie.

Analog all the way, unless I am running, then I use a digital for timing purposes. For day-to-day usage, it's all about the analog.

Analog for sure. Just looks nicer. Except my old-school-style LED watch, which I adore.

I will say, however that my favorite watches in my collection have both. One is just a basic dual time setup with an analog on one side and a digital on the other (http://www.amazon.com/Fossil-Ana-dig.../dp/B000ZHIKYG). People think it was really expensive...I guess it's the faux-wood accents.

The other is a Yes Cozmo (http://www.yeswatch.com/wrist-watch/timekeeper/cozmo.html?id=U89NVhK8). It's admittedly fairly garish, but I love how functional it is. I did *NOT* pay $500 for this watch, btw.

Analog.I'm old school and grew up on analog clocks and watches. I get a better "sense" of time on an analog. Kinda like a graph vs just numbers I suppose.

The best answer: BOTH.

Get a classy looking analog watch with a small digital display. From more than 1 foot away, it'll look good. From up close, you get multi-alarm capabilities, stop watch, a calender, etc all the things that a good digital watch brings. You get the best features of digital without the horrible velcro on massive plastic look that most digital watches have.

I'm not saying this is the best example, but it is the first image that appeared in Google search.
