Why?
Uh, I don't see a way to add a poll here? Why? ^_^ Oh, it's under Thread Tools.
Lol I knew this poll would be biased knowing this is ATOT
Digital FTW, theres too much room for error in analog watches
Usability > Looks
Analog. Always.
I'm trying to think of a reason to wear my analog. I used to, before the days of digital watches. When digital came along the accuracy combined with the incredible cheapness (you could get lots of features for $40, basic features for $20), made them the watch for me. I just inherited an Omega analog and am trying to think of a reason I'd wear it. One thing about that Omega: I have to wind it daily, which takes almost a minute, and I have to remember.
One thing: When you have to make lots and lots of log entries, digital is absolutely the thing to have on your wrist. That was me today, making over 30 digital entries in a log book. I was wearing one of my digital watches.
Analog. They look nicer by far because there is a wide range of aesthetics that can be used for the dial, fonts, and hands. In addition, for me, they are faster and easier to read. A digital watch I have to actually read the numbers to know the time, with an analog I can just do a quick glance and get an impression of the time. I have a chronograph on my watch so I can also run it as a stopwatch which is very handy. I ended up forgetting to put on my watch the other day and was annoyed the whole day that I couldn't look at my wrist to get the time or run the timer.
Maybe it's just me, but I don't have any problem reading four numbers in a quick glance.
IMHO analog does look a lot nicer, though.

i haven't owned/worn a wrist watch in 10+ years
i stopped when i started carrying a pager (pager has a clock) and then a cell phone, it has a clock
car has a clock, i spend 90% of my waking time in front of a computer or tv that has a clock
Analog for fashion is alright, but digital is a lot more practical. Having a stopwatch feature for working out (interval training, etc.), instant glance time-telling, accuracy, and no moving parts are just some of the features of digital watches.
Do you have to wind that thing? I have to wind my Omega (it's very old, I don't know if they all have wind mechanisms).Analog, because I like my watch to be reasonably attractive. I am current wearing one of these: http://www.chronomaster.co.uk/B136_Omega_Railmaster_6.JPG
Holy shit! I don't think that's healthy. Get some exercise!null
