I'm trying to build an Adobe Flex program that was created in Flash Builder 4 via the command-line.
Adobe provides ANT plug-ins for MXML / AS compilation, but an important feature is missing. With Flash Builder you can point it at a WSDL and it will automatically generate the needed ActionScript objects needed to access it, as described here:

I need to be able to generate that ActionScript code during an ANT or Maven build. But, the modified Apache Axis back-end that Adobe uses to generate it is proprietary and tightly coupled to the Eclipse plug-in it seems.
There is a wsdl2as, but is not mature and has not been updated in years. There is a way to generate the ActionScript code from Java classes using Flex-Mojo Maven plugin (uses GAS2 in the backend), but it would be very sloppy to have Axis generate Java code from the WSDL and then create ActionScript code from the Java code.
