Huh? No, that's what basically all economists say. Also, Krugman is 100% right there. He wasn't saying that we couldn't get above 3% GDP growth if we engaged in massive stimulus, he was saying that we likely can't get back to sustainable 3% GDP growth due to demographic trends. Simply put, due to the boomers retiring we're going to see a lot of people exiting the labor force and that drags on growth. Ironically if we wanted to get back to consistent 3% growth we should probably be encouraging lots of immigration... oops.
Regardless, you're deflecting. It is undeniable that the GOP is engaging in large scale fiscal stimulus right now. (remember the tax cuts and jacked up spending?) You opposed fiscal stimulus in a recession under Democrats, do you oppose fiscal stimulus now? Yes or no?
