bought a FSP550-60PLG PSU for my new A8N motherboard and just hit a roadblock... its 24+8, and the A8N is 24+4 on the ATX connectors... what the hell am i gonna do now?
Interestingly, I use a 20 pin psu and just bought a MB that requires 24 pin. I went to my local microcenter and they had a combo kit that included a 20pin to 24pin adapter as well as a 4pin to 8pin adapter. I will get the part number and namebrand when I get home from work and post it here. I don't know if you will be able to order it from www.microcenter.com or not, but I will at least get the make and model. It was $10 for the kit.
Found it - I think this is what you are looking for. I can't vouch for the 4 to 8 adapter quality, but the 20 to 24 seemed decent and 12 hours in has caused no issues.
