Use of antibiotics can lead to fungal blooms of yeast on pretty much any part of your body including your tongue, throat, and your blood system.

"
Symptoms can range from mild to extreme, often described as extreme
flu-like symptoms. Pain, mental disorders, chronic
fatigue,
infections, are a few of the long list of associated symptoms with Fungemia. Skin infections can include persistent or unhealing wounds and lesions, sweating, itching, unusual discharge or drainage and more."
Bacteria in our bodies are usually what keeps the yeast/fungus in check. When you kill all those off with antibiotics it allows them to go apeshit wild, and if you have a shitty immune system you can be seriously fucked. Also due to the symptoms being "flu-like" many doctors will figure you have the flu or some other crap and might prescribe you antibiotics, which is essentially like throwing gasoline on the fire.
Ok, now that I've sufficiently scared the shit out of you, go to a med stop and get strep tested. Its quick and easy, and will let you know if its strep or not.
