WTF? Frozen onion rings are expensive!

i wanted onion rings for my newly found Blooming Onion sauce.

went to walmart.
walmart brand seasoned potato wedges were $1.25 for a 2lb bag, or $0.04/oz

walmart brand onion rings were $2.50 for a 1lb bag, or $0.15/oz

onions are out of season now?!

Buy flour, oil and onions and make them for a fifth of the price.

Onions are never out of season. FWIW leek rings are better than onion rings and fresh are better than frozen. It's a project you should learn to do yourself.
