That forum has gone so down hill since I was on it 10 years ago. Kyle is a douchebag. He and the other mods like to warn people for stupid reasons, or ban them. They have favorites as well. I have gotten warned once a long time ago for asking to gift a paypal, but there are people on there now saying to GIFT the money, and it's in the rules and they don't do a thing about it even after being reported. Like I said, they have their favorites.

I joined it yesterday for some mobile phone help and while checking the site out I posted a question about a Gaming PC I recently repaired and asked if it was worthy. My post was removed.

a little fun fact for you guys. Me and Kyle Bennit go way way back. I was the actual first person there to get my own personal title...lol. Assclown was the title and people were jealous.

I like to expand a bit...I did cause the downfall of the off-topic forum there..me and others decided to start our own forum called [Genmay] with sanjay hosting it..it was fun for a few years..my crew at drunkenforums joined in too.

What happened to GenMay? I used to lurk there for the first few years. It is true that most the people from HardForum Off topic migrated there when they opened. I visited it a few years ago for the first time in 4+ years and as you said, it is a total dust bowl. Another forum I used to visit was tribalwar. Both very active forums that are practically dead these days. I think both GenMay and TribalWar have fallen even further than these forums.

What do you expect though? Forums in general are dying... all around...

It's all about social media these days - people think Facebook, Instagram, etc. are the equivalent of forums...

Dead forums are a topic I am fascinated with. I always wonder how many of them migrated to Reddit (at least it is a similar setup as a forum).
Facebook is ok but I rarely post there. I look once every few days at least on the first few pages.
I don't know how anyone likes Twitter. Most people post 99% garbage of their 20 tweets a day.

Technical problems there.they wouldnt remove your post unless you were being asshat.Im not a member,but i read a lot of posts over there.
