WTf is a lint free cloth?

What are some examples of lint free cloth (I'm currently sticking on the arctic silver...I hate sticking ton the fan...it is the part i abhore the most )

Personally I use some plastic, metal, or whatever flat surface to scrape the excess off.

A lint free cloth is just that, a lint-free cloth.

That means NOT toilet paper.

I dunno. I use baby wipes followed up with a cotton swab and 99% rubbing alcohol.

But yah I don't use that cloth except for my monitor and DVDs.

As Eli said, use cotton swabs. My secret recipe is a little bit different though I use acetone (nailpolish remover, no fragrance), then isopropyl, then water

Why water? The alcohol will get it as clean as it can be.

You can get lint free items at any paint or refinishing store they use them to apply finishes to wood.

The truly lint free stuff can be found at a camera/photo shop. Just don't get the stuff with cleaning chemical on it.

I use Sparkle paper towels, because they claim to be virtually lint-free. Never had a problem with them.

Microfiber is a very effective lint free cloth. I use it to keep the touch-screen on my Toughbook CF-37 nice and clean.

Lint free cloth = disposable coffee filter. They are lint free, they are cheap and you get 100 for less than a dollar. Plus you probably already have some in your house. Why spend more?

the best thing is lens-cleaning cloth. just make sure they're completely free of liquids (hard to find). longs where I am used to have a great brand of that stuff, but now all they have the normal ones with cleaning fluid in them
