Suffice it to say, had the U.S. dropped EIGHT TONS of bombs on the Red Cross compounds, they would have been leveled, not just 'set fire to'. The bombings occured at night, so a big X on top of the building doesn't do a whole lot of good. Since the Red Cross staff has been long gone, entrusting the facilities to local "friends" (which mean friend of the Taliban), The Red Cross really doesn't have any idea what those buildings are being used for. We admitted it was a mistake, though, and apologized, which is good enough for me.
