WTF is wrong with hotmail????????

everytime I try and check my hotmail account ( even through mesenger)

all I keep getting is this:

The site may not be a member of the Windows Live Network

And this is pretty much all I've been getting for the last 15 days or so.......

I'm switching everything halfway important to gmail....I'm so pissed....it will even pop up in messenger when I have a mail but I have no way of looking at it at all...I just get the above screen.....

When using Firefox this happen quite often try using IE.

hmm...no problems here with firefox and WL mail.

Smartest thing you could do. Hotmail is terrible now, even more than it used to be. I use Gmail for anything even remotely important and Hotmail for any crap I don't care about.

Ftw. Gmail will remain the free email leader until someone offers good, free imap. Hotmail became completely useless when they stopped allowing pop access and even worse by falling so far behind on mailbox sizes.

I've always received that error in the past couple weeks when using Firefox 2.0 (not sure about prior versions) and the newer Live! mail. I simply right clicked on the error page and clicked "Open Page in Internet Explorer" (an add-on I have) and it worked just fine.

Even though Hotmail isn't that useful, I need access to my sign-up e-mails, since they all get sent to hotmail as I could care less about that account receiving spam.

Well to sort it all out I got hotmail working...
I cleaned out all my temp files and cookies...
Then it will magically work for a bit....

So if anybody encounters this problem give that a shot...

I'm still switching everything over to gmail that I can though....

I've never had any issues with Hotmail on either IE6 or IE7.

Hotmail has been terrible as of late.

They've gone Beta as many people know and I kinda like the setup ... but it's so slow and broken that it's almost unuseable.

In any case, Gmail is where it's at for me and has been since it's inception.

I've been getting that every once in a while. I sign out of passport, and sign back in. That seems to clear everything up for a while.
