WTF?!?! Low benchmarks

I just benchmarked my PC using all the benchmarking programs I have and my results were pretty low:

HL2: Maximum details, 4x aniso filtering, 2xAA
800x600 38.34 fps 3.355 fps variability
1024x768 38.62 fps 3.078 fps variability
1280x1024 35.86 fps 3.087 fps variability
1600x1200 32.73 fps 2.925 fps variability

Doom 3: Maximum details- WTF?!?!
800x600 25.9 fps
1024x768 15.5 fps
1280x1024 31.2 fps
1600x1200 19.1 fps

3dMark03 Demo: 1024x768
7354 3DMarks

Is it just me, or is my PC terminally fvcked?? I just did a clean install of Windows and this is the only thing I've run. All my drivers etc. are up to date as well.

It looks like a simple case of forgetting to install chipset drivers.

I'd try a different driver. Couldnt hurt.

Is A64 3400+ running at its rated speed ?
Try to reinstall the drivers for everything with different versions.

Update: With the 71.25 drivers, my performence went down:

HL2- Same settings
640x480 31.65 fps 4.767 fps variability
800x600 35.54 fps 3.245 fps variability
1024x768 34.46 fps 2.498 fps variability
1280x1024 30.76 fps 2.575 fps variability
1600x1200 28.24 fps 2.617 fps variability

Doom 3-Same settings
640x480 15.4 fps <-WTF?!?! should be at least 60
800x600 13.7 fps
1024x768 13.4 fps
1280x1024 13.0 fps
1600x1200 11.5 fps

I had probs. like that.
I reinstalled the 5.10 nVidia drivers, and probs solved.

If you would read the topic, you'll see that All my drivers etc. are up to date as well.. please read before you post. It was a clean install of XP. nothing else was on the PC before i installed the drivers

Im also upset with my fps, i only have used halflife 2 video stress test but i get a measley, 23fps, I know my system isnt the most up to date and my graphics card is very very meager, but is this right?

RAM is choking you. 512 is simply not enough any more, especially not in texture intensive games like Doom 3. That would be my first guess.

Even then, your performance seems abnormally low. Got a spare video card around the benchmark with?

I had better performence in every test with my Athlon XP 2000+ and 9600 Pro.

could that 9200Se be the culprit? Seriously, that is one of the worst gaming video cards out there now (I should know: check sig). If you were to get a semi-recent card such as the 9600 Pro, you would see much better gaming performance. Personally, I am saving up for a 6800gt...

Back On-topic: So you reinstalled XP. Did this include formatting the drive? did you make sure to reinstall ALL drivers: chipset, sound, video, CPU, etc.? I just reformatted my drive and forgot to reinstall my nForce3 drivers and my benchmark scores were cut in half...

i don't know but it almost seems like your bios settings could be wrong? i mean, those are dismal scores and if all your drivers are up to date.... i'm just reaching here i guess.

but i would check all your bios settings, aperature size, vid memory, etc. i have an asus board and i needed to make a few changes on mine to get decent marks. (11,500 in 03 and 4800 in 05 , both oc'd with a 2.4 p4 @2.8)

just my thought, you seem to have mentioned everything but the bios.
