The MAGA posters here show why modern conservatives are deplorable. His own comments contradicts himself. He'll point fingers at others, but never himself. Ignores any inconvenient facts that contradicts his arguments. Insists his views are the only correct views, and screw everyone else.

My hope is that we can all reason our way to understanding vs the usual rhetoric.
If I may, I would like to tell you my understanding of your statement here:

What I reason the meaning of the usual rhetoric is as follows:

The usual rhetoric amounts to the fact that you are facing moral condemnation regarding your religious and political beliefs on the one hand because they are not just wrong but that you yourself are evil for being so blind as not to see that. Your blindness, in short, infuriates other people who believe they see how wrong you really are. You frighten them in a way because if millions of people think as you do the end times will be upon us. So, in my opinion they help to create what they fear because the condemnation just drives your opinions deeper and deeper inward. They confirm your feelings that their lack of Christian morality as you believe it to be is a threat.

To be able to reason then, to you, means a discussion without this condemnation and that via such a path we might arrive at understanding. Here is my understanding of that put in terms of my understanding of Christianity. I could be wrong about both as I am both a nobody with a nobody's opinion and a non-Christian:

Suppose that instead of the 'usual rhetoric' we parse the critique. Let's put it like this:

You, like everyone in the world is a sinner in need of redemption and that Christ died on the cross to pay for your sins and you have been forgiven. What I see here is that Christ is offering you a chance to remove your feelings of guilt but the 'usual rhetoric' here says otherwise. Is there an option offered here? Can you let go of your feelings of guilt the criticism implies you should feel, or do you have to stick with a path that requires constant self justification? What would a sinner do and yet still be forgiven for? Can you see that being a Christian is terribly hard. In this world of blame we have learned deeply how to deny our guilt, to see our own sins in others, to outwardly accuse instead of accepting the crushing weight of our feelings of guilt.

We are all lost sheep and unless we can die to our feelings of inner sin we can't be otherwise. To love God is to step right over that pit. There is only love or the belief in the delusions that were placed upon us by condemnation. And we aren't very commendable when we believe them. Denial takes to ugly places.

So if it is our denial that is our sin why do we do it. Without our pride of ego, without our self-righteous armor, we would never have been able to survive the vicious cruelty of other broken people. Christianity is hard because to forgive yourself you have to forgive them. They know not what they do.

To be a Christian is to let go, to accept, to surrender, to give up the idolatry of the self, to open our hearts to the possibility of grace.

For people full of the need to condemn the Ten Recommendations for a Godly Life given as a condensed summation reflecting the spirit of a loving being and a gift to you, easily turn into Ten Commandments we seek to push onto others. Why, because we need to deny our own guilt by projecting our fear of seeing the evil that generates in ourselves as out there in the world seeking to get us. It's what happens when you have a guilty conscience. The desire to punish others is the result of what we feel we ourselves deserve.

I'm neither frightened nor infuriated. I just like to call it out when people say one thing while meaning something else. Such as when they say they want 'Christian values' when what they really want is Christian identity.

Seriously man, weed does a brain bad mmmkay?

Plus I revoked my votes for him and everyone knows this. Get with the program.

Old man Brandon is a catastrophe on America letting millions and millions of illegals overrun our once great nation. He should be impeached for his disregard for not protecting this country. And you voted for this crazy old man!
So now you admit you smoke weed. Also you can’t revoke a vote. You voted, it was counted.

So far in this thread we have established you question your sexual identity, have a drug addiction, are broke, smoke weed, and suffer from mental illness.

I hope some day you are able to deal with your shit.

Okay, so the question to be asked then is, if the next Presidential election comes down to Trump vs. Biden, which seems incredibly likely, who do you vote for?
Lets just say, as a thought experiment, that you are required to vote for one of them. No third party, no non-vote. Either Trump or Biden.
Which, in your opinion, is more fit to represent you?

Oh, and this is no gotcha question. I know you get a lot of flack on this forum for your opinions, and honestly no matter how you answer this question some are going to attack you for it. But, as long as you answer seriously ( but if you make a joke out of it expect me to reply in kind), I can promise no matter which way you answer I won't give you any grief over it. I'm genuinely interesting in hearing your reasoning.

There are write in candidates. I would vote for DeSantis or Abbott. But Biden? Nope.

What about you?

You can't help yourself. You responded to a poster who was willing to give you the benefit of the doubt and practically begged you to not deflect and you did it anyway.

I'm not voting for Trump nor Biden. Trump does not respect the Constitutional process and Biden is grossly incompetent.

I've been voting since 1988. Given those two choices, I abstain or do a write in.

Still deflecting and unable to answer a pretty simple question. This sums up your contribution to this forum.

How exactly did that revocation process work? Last I recall there are no allowances for backsies when voting.

The question which you have yet to answer is the following...

Trump has not changed from 2015 to now. What were his outstanding characteristics that got your votes.

Was it his lack of respect for the Constitution?
Was it his racism?
Was it his dishonestly with the public?
Was it his name calling?
Was it his "Looney Tuneness" (your characterization.)
Was it his ability to grift while in office?
Was it his incompetence.
Was it his ability to rule by spite?

Anyone with minimum intelligence knows Trump hasn't changed yet you were strangely attracted enough to vote for him twice? What won you over?

He wasnt Democrat. Thats usually the biggest qualifier.

But when he refused to hand over power and also incited people to try to stop the Constitutional process from taking place he showed that he only cares about himself and not the country. That was too much.

The same can be said of you
Sure you will carry on with your dishonesty and hatred of America but we already knew that.
And so will you.
Here is your stellar contribution to this forum. "Nuh uh, you! I know you are, but what am I"

Wow. You're like a short bus 6 year old with the way you refute others. And still can't answer simple questions asked of you without deflecting and projecting.

And although you refuse to admit it directly...we all know damn well that if Biden and Trump are the only choices, you're not going to waste a write-in for Ron or someone else. You wouldn't risk taking the vote from the primary candidate.

So you can deny supporting him and claim to dislike him all you want. We know it's bullshit, and we know you'll vote party over country every fucking time. You've shown us again and again what a shitty person you are, and who you're willing to elect.

What ever gave you the idea he EVER had it. Like I stated earlier Trump hasn't changed since 2015. That must mean you don't really give a shit about the Constitution, either.

It's kinda the usual MO of people on the right. Like your pronouncements you have so much support for cops. Remember Blue Lives Matter? That is until the capital police needed your support. They were ridiculed and mocked.

You need to stop being so angry and perhaps consider employment.
