So if I read this right, you are now allowed to harass people as long as you claim it is religious speech?
Time to make anti-fascism a religion.

The opposite of "woke", is asleep.Just more projection.
Liberals are indoctrinating our kids with their woke agenda.
Therefore, we have to fight the woke agenda by indoctrinating the kids with Pro-america/Christianity stuff.
Democrats in Texas trying to fight back
No almost about it with that post. If that person is serious they will eventually be a perpetrator.Okay, so almost certainly a troll.
If anyone bothered to read the bible they'd learn that the Lord Jesus Christ never forced his beliefs on anyone using church as the primary vehicle for the deliverance of the gospel. This is what happens when the salt loses its savor just as Jesus warned us it would.
Religious fanatics never change and always resort to violence when people refuse them.I agree, but theocracy thru fear and violence for centuries set the stage for forceful adherence. Only in the last century or so in the U.S. has this slowly been changing, and religious people are grasping harder while the sand runs from their fists

Whose religion?Texas should go a step forward and make it a requirement for colleges in the state (or otherwise loose their certification of running the college), to require students to take a semester on religion and god. This wouldstop this insanity of adults starting mass shootings as belif in religion would be back.
obviously it should be Hinduism because it's the oldest religion. therefore, it is the most correctWhose religion?
This is my home state of Texas we are talking about, where it would cost too much to keep people from freezing to death, so the obvious answer is who ever is welling to pay the most.Whose religion?
My college religion class did a good job of showing how bullshit all the religions were.Texas should go a step forward and make it a requirement for colleges in the state (or otherwise loose their certification of running the college), to require students to take a semester on religion and god. And was it a required course, or an elective? Pretty sure I know the answer...My college religion class did a good job of showing how bullshit all the religions were.
Christopher Hitchens did an amazing job of it in his "god is not great" book. He ate organized religions for dinner, there was nothing left but broken, dry, picked-clean bones, and Christopher picking his teeth. My college religion class did a good job of showing how bullshit all the religions were.
I think it may be almost too late, Texas is already trying to pass several modern versions of the fugitive slave act to criminalize its citizens travelling out of the state, or assisting anyone from Texas trying to escape the state, if they are of a certain marginalized population (such as pregnant women with lives at risk from pregnancy, or trans youth)Uh, if true, time to GTFO of Texas.
Humanities elective. And was it a required course, or an elective? Pretty sure I know the answer...
