To the OP. I don't see what's so awesome about people losing their lives.

My heart goes out to the students and families.

Watching ABC News listening to one student describe jumping out of a window with fellow classmates and how he saw his classmates getting shot and how his prof was shot in the face...

They are definitely playing up this why weren't classes canceled after the first shooting...

Regardless of the situation, instead of just reporting the facts every media organization is looking for the hook, the angle, the spin, the scoop they can get on the situation.

Are you saying you want shooters like this to shoot at more people befor they go down?

no, i'm wondering if their point was to go out in a rampage, why shoot themselves at the end? just doesn't make sense to me. if you're trying to take as many people with you when you die, why shoot yourself? with so many police surrounding you, i'm pretty sure they'll be able to pump you full of lead, so i wouldn't worry about surviving.

As I said earlier in this thread, you can't rationalize irrational behavior. You are looking for consistency and reason in a person in the midst of a mental breakdown and killing spree. You're not going to find it.

because the shooter had a logical plan from the moment he found his GF cheating on him. Ya, that's it.
