Yes, and every year there would be a sh!tload more shooting on campuses across the country because a guy was upset he got an "F" and he already had a gun right there in his backpack.

Not necessarily true.... CCW permit holders have the lowest incidence of crime, and not just crimes commited with firearms......They also have the lowest incident of firearm accidents.

fox news was interviewing the head of the collegiate times, and the guy said that the man arrested was a reporter getting too close. He was released shortly.

All this talk about putting guns in the hand of law abiding citizens is crazy. Sure it MIGHT make people think twice about shooting someone, but it will also make the escalation of situations much more common place. Bottom-line, right now I feel relatively comfortable and confident when I go out that the vast majority of the people do not carry guns and are of no threat to me. If I knew that carrying guns were legal it would make me far less comfortable and trusting of people. The current times is nothing like generations ago. The kids then and the kids now are very much different. There are far more dysfunctional house holds, all of a sudden there are more syndromes and disorders, more drugs, etc. I don't know how to explain it...but I just plain don't trust the people from my generation on with anything.
