whats the difference?
i never knew you played for the girl's soccer team Capt.
whats the difference?
You were lucky. We lived for three months in a paper bag in a septic tank. We used to have to get up at six in the morning, clean the paper bag, eat a crust of stale bread, go to work down t' mill, fourteen hours a day, week-in week-out, for sixpence a week, and when we got home our Dad would thrash us to sleep wi' his belt.
Some kids got in trouble for hazing on my high school's football team. Granted they were anally raping the new players with broom handles....
The wusses were the helicopter parents who ran to a judge to try to stop the punishment the hazers clearly earned for breaking the long standing rules against hazing. Figures it would be another wuss from Needham who posted this whining thread.
Don't do the crime if you can't do the time.
Ha, shows what you know, I was on the math & debate teams.I'm guessing you're another one that played in the band. Figures, it's always the pusses that find throwing pies a dangerous weapon.
That's bullying, not hazing.
Bullshit. Private frats and whatnot I'm not against whatever. Who knows WTF masons do with thier knives and needle weirdness. but public sports open to all children deserve position based on merit not how well they take broken nose and all bias who gets them.
My comments were meant for Jules. And after Pledging, never heard of Initiation?
you don't know shit. you think you do but most people don't like to see their children abused nowadays. Id say a broken nose for a girl in soccer Practice is abusive. I don't give a fuck what 4/5 narcissistic pukes have to say, make it 99/100 and busting noses in girls soccer practice anit right. Everyone nose this. You don't know what hazing is then. Reading a follow-up article, the freshman were willing participants, laughed and found it funny. One overzealous dad decided a pie was a dangerous weapon. The parents of the other freshman requested that no punishment be given to the others as it was all meant in fun. Sadly, some people get it and others don't.

The private high school I went to had freshman hazing then any sport you go into will have hazing of some sort. I'm surprised many of you have never gone through any type of hazing.
I remember an incident, years ago, of 2 frats taking blindfolded male students out in vans, in late fall/early winter [it was just barely snowing, iirc]. Demanding the guys strip naked, then dumping them at 2am, blindfolded, naked & drunk out in the boonies of western MA on deserted highways several hours drive away from campus. Why the hell any of those idiots wanted to still join those moronic frats was beyond rational explanation.Sure there were a few stupid things we did like blindfold them and drive them around in the back of a big 15 passenger van to an "undisclosed location" but we never did anything to harm them or humiliate them.
