It had its moments. There were definitely some rough times in that game though, but the ability to team up with friends in a single vehicle and have some fun was a good experience.
It was unfortunately just another rushed job that never lived up to its potential. A small development house and no real resources hurt too.
Maybe one day we'll get an actual MMO type WWII game, probably from someone and something along the lines of Call of Duty and on a smaller scale, instead of a large map like the one in WWIIonline that led to far too much boredom, we might see something more generated and the battles less random.
We'll see, for what it was and still is, it was a worthy experiment in MMOs before the genre went over to WoW clones.
