Well, I was pretty close. I was shocked that they did not introduce anything new aside from the iphone. This is a clear indication that apple went straight for the enterprise and new customers. I'm guessing once they get a higher grip on market share they'll come out with something that will wow us.
Basically we waited a year and all they did was include 3g, gps and support for the enterprise customers. Its not to say that this was not a good move because if I was on the border of getting one this would have pushed me over - however I dont really see any need to upgrade my iphone. I dont feel like paying $10 more a month for the 3g data as there is no 3g network where I live and I have wifi at home. The google triangulate map search works well enough for me that GPS is not really needed.
However, I read that Tom Tom has software that can run the iphone's GPS.....assuming that I could buy a suction cup and mount it to my windshield of my car this may be something I would consider.
