HLS requires an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with Safari on iOS 7.0 or later, a Mac with Safari 6.0.5 or later on OS X v10.8.5 or later, or a PC with Microsoft Edge on Windows 10. Streaming via Apple TV requires an Apple TV (2nd or 3rd generation) with software 6.2 or later or an Apple TV (4th generation).

There are lots of people that want/need this kind of power, I can see them selling at least 200K units on launch, easy.

The 15" Macbook Pro still starts at $2,400 US, still only has 256GB of storage for that price point, and STILL can't be upgraded with more than 16GB of RAM.

Those were decent specs for a laptop at that price 4 years ago, but now it's just pathetic. I guess that I get to wait another year for the Macbook "Actually for Professionals" Pro model.

Interestingly, the MacBook Air is NOT listed as updated on the Apple site, but did get an update nonetheless, albeit to another Broadwell CPU.

I think the best part of WWDC 2017 is the fact they released so much hardware this time around that all the people who keep saying "WWDC is for software announcements, not hardware!" might finally shut up.

Well, yeah. Apple already said they'll ship at the end of the year. December, to be exact.

And I suspect that 99% of developers buying a Mac desktop would be buying the regular iMac anyway.
