This is a great site to shop @...and stupid you guys..u stupid anandtech people flamed it because it didn't honor the price? what a bunch of idiots...
this post is to help zones.com get back its original rating of 8+
I know a lot of you shopped there b4 and they're a pretty damn decent company......now go help zones.com bring its rating up...since it was the stupid anandtech users to put it down, i guess it's part of other user's duty to make up for what the dumb@$$es did...

People had a bad experience zones.com and they were in their right to do that, and you have the right to call them idiots, but asking people to post on their just to change their score when they probably haven't had any relation with the company? Now that is idiotic, it defeats the whole purpose of rating companies with reseller ratings.

yes people have bad experiences, but a whole group of anandtech users just lowering the rating just because of a pricing error by maxtor? that's ridiculous...just read the other forum about the maxtor 160gig deal thread

How can rating a website be considered selfish? What would an anandtech user have to gain by rating a website, whether it's rated good or bad?

Seems that the only reason they would be concerned is if they had a legitimate interest in the company..hrm.

umm yeah... if you had an outstanding experience go give it high ratings. I had a bad experience, though I did rate their website as "avg", so I think it's perfectly ethical to give them a crappy rating. This crusading for "zones", is highly dubious....

i agree wholeheartedly. while i agree that it was pretty crappy of some people to go nuts and bring down a generally respectable (yet pricey) store's reputation like that, your "holier than thou" attitude doesn't help the situation any. in fact, i think it puts you right alongside the flamers you so wish to persecute.

Easy. Just make up like 20-30 email accounts and sign up to reseller. You can bring the rating up all by yourself. There were only like 20 bad ratings.

Zones reseller ratings are now at 1.29. Many of the comments on the ratings are clearly from anandtech users crusaiding about how they got burned by a 'classic bait and switch' from a seller who is nothing but 'a bunch of cheats'.

Things like this give Anandtech a bad name.
