I saw one of these about a year ago but don't remember what they were called or who made them. Anyone know of who this company is or how to find one of these? They were supposed to seriously speed up your typing speed and prevent carpal tunnel.

Jesus - I bet not one person in 100 could learn to use that thing without tremendous difficulty. It seems like one of those things that would inspire a loyal cult following, but that nearly everyone else would hate.

The irony is that this thing requires a cable - I have had good luck with my Logitech wireless mouse and keyboard while lying on the couch, whereas I would be strugging with the cable on this monstrosity.

I would think movement with the vertical mouse would be clunky. It looks like you shift the movement to your entire arm instead of your fingers.

True, though I can see the ergonomic benefit. I also really like their keyboard - too bad it isn't available in a wireless version.

I've been thru 2 of the evi\oluent mice and loved both of them (both basically identical). I used to get wrist pains from mousing too much, and the vertical mouse solved the problem instantly.

(That being said, however, I recently got a Logitech G5 and it seems ergo enough for me after using the Evoluent mouse for a couple years.)

Just FYI, I started using the Evoluent mouse and the pain simply moved from one part of my forearm to another. My Logitech trackball helps as an alternative, but the MX1000 at work is better. I may try the G5 Garth, thanks for the suggestion.
