I really like the Big XBox controller better than the "S". It just seem to fit my hand better and I really dislike the button placement of the "S" controller, how "A B X Y" are spread out like a diamond, it's just hard to hit the buttons from one to the other, the white and black buttons on the other hand are placed low almost by your palm, I have so much trouble trying to reach them.

I got my XBox from Best Buy and a 2 year extended warranty was $24.95. I've already made use of it, my XBox's fan was making grinding noises so I took it back and they gave me a new one.

Thanks. That's not that bad of a price and I've heard that the X-Box's reliability SUCKS.

Yea, but Microsoft's support seems to be pretty good (aka intellimouse explorer) so if there's a problem with it microsoft will probably fix it up.

These are supposed to be the new cheaper to manufacture models (and no-mod which didn't last long), but I also believe they switched back to the Phillips drives which are better than the Thompsons they were using for awhile.

The cheapest item I found was Hamlet for $1.00 (with free shipping). They used to sell bookmarks for cheap, but I think those (like the $5 off $10 coupons) are gone.

I haven't heard any reports about the XBox having any reliability problems. I've had mine since 12/01 without any problems.

Yes it looks like the dvd kit is not free with this combo, but no one has contacted MS yet so it is still possible!
