Anyone catch it last night? I thought it was ok. It was a little hard to follow though. It seemed to jump forward very quickly and not make much sense.

I didn't watch the original series when it was on waaaaaaaaaaay back when. Thought it was one of the stupidest things on tv...and considering the competition...that was saying a lot.
I started binge-watching it a couple of years ago on Netflix. My original assumption wasn't too far off...but I made it somewhere into season 4 or 5 before I finally walked away. I watched the last reboot...it was pretty bad...yet I still watched it all.
I have the current reboot recording in the DVR...just in case I get bored and want to watch it. I don't have much hope for it though...both actors are waaaay too old for the parts. "Hello, we're agents Mulder and Scully from the FBI Senior Citizen division."

i loved the original series but this new one and the recent one they did doesn't seem the same. of course, i was in high school when the original ran, so i'm sure that might have something to do with it.
the latest episode, while extremely corny, did feel more like an x-files episode than the others.

I remember an interview or something awhile back where they talked about hiring her originally, and specifically not going for your typical ultra-attractive female sidekick, and how it backfired because all of the nerds fell in love with her character anyway
