X1: Sucked BIG ASS. It was a nerd's movie that had awkward ass acting & dialogue. Don't mention shitty ass plot and anticlimatic ending.

X2: The best of all series so far. The opening scene with NC infiltrating Whitehouse is just absolutely epic. Great plot and action overall. It's hard to believe it's the same director.

X3: Am I the only one who liked X3? Movies don't have to be faithful to the comics you know. It was a decent flick with more action, more mutant powers AND a cohesive plot. X2 > X3 > X1

XO: I also liked this too. The movie showed off Hugh Jackman's action very well and his origin story of living in the backwoods in Canada. The rivalry between Sabertooth and Wolverine was pulled off nicely too. Why do people bitch about Deadpool? He was the same mouthy guy seen in comics. For god's sake, nerds got mad because he didn't wear his Spiderman uniform (hence ORIGINS!) and the movie took its creative direction to turn him into a super mutant. What's wrong with that? The part about taking an Adamantium bullet to the head = no memory is retarded though.

In short, I think people shouldn't bitch about X3 & XO when X1 was fucking trash of a shit.

I agree, that the movie started off really really well. But then, for me, it turned into a turdfest. Seriously they got Deadpool pretty decent for the first 30 minutes of the film and then they failed so hard. I'm just hoping they're going to come out and say it was a Deadpool clone and the real one is alive somewhere else.

I honestly wish they would have expanded the 'through time' montage with Wolverine and Sabertooth to the whole movie instead of only for the first 5 minutes and the of it being shit. I mean cmon a war flick that spans through multiple wars w/ wolverine and sabertooth and possibly later on w/ his team? hell yea that would be awesome.

X1 was meh. It was an experiment and moshed too many things together.

They made everyone attractive (another error, Rogue was not attractive until MUCH later, it was one reason she was bitter) and the plot was out of nowhere.

X2? Decent. Again they came out of nowhere, but they did a bit better with the cast and development. I liked it, but not a "winner". The hint at Phoenix was very nice too.

X3? Crap. They got rid of too many people, KILLED Cyclops (why?) did physically impossible things (a suspension bridge can't BRIDGE anything w/o its cables moored, sorry, engineer here) and characters like Juggernaut (Prof X's half bro, I believe) were just so far off they did not fit. The guy is supposed to be 8' tall, and we get an Aussie beer commercial instead?

XO? Unless you are talking Chinese, I have not experienced it. I have heard similar from many, that it just plain misses every mark. It is not heinous. For that you need winners like the 1980's Captain America and Punisher. But it just did not come to point with one of the most interesting characters in the series.

They have enough of a base now to do just about anything. With the Avengers being assembled, the FF out, Captain America and Iron man in the fold, the Hulk and X-men now out there, there are MANY different crossovers (Hulk vs Wolverine? Which instance would you like?) available that would fit nicely in 90-120 minutes of almost pulp-like action.

Unfortunately, these guys are more concerned with figuring out ways to get Wolverine to drink a can of coke than an actual story people will watch more than once.

Hmm, I was actually a bit disappointed by the movie.

I think my main problem with it was a lack of emotion... the movie barely brought any out in its characters. I'd say it's more of a poor script problem rather than a director issue (Vaughn did a decent job).

Here's an example of what I would have liked to have seen happen instead (note, this will obviously be a spoiler and covered up as such):

I would have preferred that Beast did not turn from a fairly regular looking guy into his normal beastly self via the injection. I would have preferred the Azazel vs Beast fight to be slightly more one-sided (favoring Azazel over Beast). When they were on the beach and Azazel was about to impale Beast, Mystique should have come out as Shaw but without the helmet on. First off, she didn't even know that he had it on, so it made no sense for her to have it. But the real reason, is that Azazel would have noticed the difference and then focused on her instead. Mystique being beaten savagely should anger Beast and make him finally unleash his "inner beast". With good direction, this could have been shown well and helped show at least some emotion.

So yeah.. maybe a 6.5-7.0 out of 10.
