X1600PRO or 6600gt with DDR3 - or 6800?

I'm read a couple of hte other threads and it appears that these two are favored. I need to replace my worn out Ti4200. Which of these should I go for X1600PRO or 6600gt with DDR3? I figure I can get each of them around $100 give or take $20 whether I want new used, newegg, ebay, etc.

edit: Ok, I guess I can toss the 6800 "vanilla" into the mix. I think the X800GTO is going to be a little more than I want to spend though.

edit: If the 6800 "vanilla" can unlock to 16 pipelines but is only a 128MB card with DDR would it still beat up on a BFG 6600gt OC with DDR3? --- would it be worth 25 extra bucks?

6600GT...but you might be able to find a 6800XT/GS somewhere. good luck!

a 6800 vanilla would be better than both of those for about 110 shipped from newegg. just a suggestion.

Are you a gamer in the first place? The Ti4200 is hopelessly outdated.
The 6600gt is faster than the x1600pro.

Newegg has NO vanilla 6800 for less than $145 shipped in AGP. They've got some PCI-E deals, but not on AGP.

Well I'm not a cutting edge gamer (obvious with my vid card ). But I am currently going through Far Cry and Age of Empires III and haven't had much problem until now. It appears something on my card crapped out. 2D works fine, 3D locks up - or so my conclustion is.

So a 6600gt would be a massive upgrade.
