Found this deal while browsing through Amazon. Allthough it's on their site it's through another company. I live in CA and my total was $315 with shipping. 5% off code doesn't work with this item.......

Price for me would be: Order Total: $317.23 and of that $17.24 for shipping. About time we see this price for the X1900 XT! Perhaps ATI's waked up and seen it's lunch eaten with the 7900 GT selling for under $300?

how much worse is the x1900 compaired to the x1900xt? I will be upgrading soon and want something that will be a noticable upgrade to my current x800xtpe.

About 1/4 to 1/3 the performance of a X1900XT. Comparisons

Actually after reviewing toms, it is almost a 40% increase over the X800 XT in certain games...so it is a nice upgrade..

Nice deal.... Note for AIW 256mb and slower speeds, but still for anyone considering a HTPC card with decent performance for current games/apps it's nice...

As for the retailer (Electronica Direct), I have an x1800 Crossfire Edition card I grabbed from them NIB through eBay and they were fast and good communicators, no issues... All good...

Just my 2cents...

For gaming the 1900 AIW definately takes a big hit especially at the higher resoulutions. Possibly a good deal for an AIW card but for gaming at this price range the 1800xt 512 or even 256 is a better choice.

I couldn't believe this but this card still uses 200 theater chip, not the 550:Q

It's at $309 at amazon and around $430 @ newegg. That's a more than 100 dollar difference.
