My X1900XT hates me i think.

I am following Madshrimps OCing guide & so far, i can only get ~650 on core & 730 on RAM...

And oh joy, i cannot even get into Windows at those settings w/o it crashing (though they worked for the fuzzy cube test & 3Dmock...)

i've currently got it running at 666/800 through overdrive (i know, relaxed timings, blah blah)

always wanted a processor running at 666 (damn intel for that 667 P3)

Still tweaking, but right now I'm stable @ 740/850. Voltages are 1.475/2.2/2.2/1.5. Load hits 47-50C.

I run the HDR demo full screen at 1600x1200 for 15 minutes, then jump out to Windows to check what the ATI program is registering the temperature at. There's a 2-3 second delay getting back into Windows but that's the only way I have of knowing.

Also, how important is it to overclock the memory on these cards, or is it better to focus on the core?

Thanks!

EDIT: I'm still on stock voltage as well. How high can I take it without taking a chance?

my last xt did 720/800 @ 1.525v
now my xtx does 750/??? @ 1.5v

I have 65*C load for both my cards in crossfire. I have lots of fans and in fact made a hole on my p180 right above my cards and placed a thick 120mm fan. Does a great job.

Doing 675/1600 for both cards @ stock voltage.

Same here 650/770. Do you have a Connect3d?

This thread would have been awsome if it had a poll. That way you wouldn't have to sift through 4 pages of results. You could just look at the poll results.

Is ATITOOL the same as ATI Tray Tools that comes with the Omega drivers?

Also, what drivers are you all using? I just got my new Asus x1900xt and I am using the most recent Omega drivers.

My current speeds are:
GPU: 499.50
MEM: 594.00

WOuld it be pretty safe to bump these up, and do I need to change the voltage if i increase the speeds? I can't seem to find this madshrimp guide, so any help is appreciated.

Nope its only for OCing but it has a lot of voltage options. THE OCing tool for x1k cards.

Depending upon the temperature, anywhere from 688-700 core, and 870-900 mem, both through rivatuner at stock volts. (ATI Tool hasn't been that successful for me)

Ok, just ran 3DMark05 with my 680/820 and my score DROPPED 1500 points down to 9800. What gives? I checked ATI Tool and it said I was running at 680/820. Even at stock speeds I get over 10,000.

Anyone?

I've heard that sometimes an unstable overclock of a video card will produce this result. I think the idea is that its failing and then repeating calculations.

I have an XTX at 700/800 on stock voltages. It can probably go higher, especially on the memory, but I didn't feel like spending more time stability testing it.
