The pricing is not the same at all stores. Essentially, a liquidator bought all inventory from any given store at some point, locking in the price of the items. Discounts are taken off the locked-in price at each store.
For isntance, the Lombard, IL store inventory was locked about 2 months ago and the Naperville store was locked two weeks later. The shelf tag for the 3 drive SATAII enclosure was $60 at Naperville but $120 at Lombard. The 50% off is from the shelf tag at the time of the lock.
Compusa.com prices mean nothing since the inventory is no longer that of Compusa but rather the liquidator.
Also, don't be suprised if items "dissappear" quickly at any point since I think some liquidators are consolidating things to one central store in an area (Lomabrd, IL for instance for any store within aboout 30 miles). This gives them one more cahnce to sell inventory rather than lower the price again. This is pure speculation, but I saw the Geneva store shipping their clearance games to Lombard before the closings were announced.
Good luck,
EH
