You should be able to see this data in the FAHlog.txt file.

Biggest download so far was 754KB. Most of them so far have been 89k download which decompresses to 440KB.

Uploads have all been a little over 1MB and don't compress much at all.

so basically the vid card alone generates substantially more credit than the cpu alone ?
interesting

Yes, by a long shot. GPU WUs are given 4x the credit per day (6x temporarily for so much CPU use), but from what I've read they WUs are more complicated as well. Whatever F@H does seems to really like ATI shaders...

re GPU speed:
Another member here pointed me towards Rivatuner which has a reatime monitor for GPU and VRAM clockspeed. Looks like this X1950Pro is running at full blast in 2D and 3D mode regardless of its load. All the more reason to keep it folding!

My only concern now is heat. My CPU runs at 49-51°C running the CPU client, but runs at 53-55°C with GPU client. Should be interesting to see how it does in summer when ambient temps hit 90-100°F

There are some reports that a max OCed C2D running those (hard to get) 1495 WUs can do close to GPU ppd. Not sure if it is true.

Also, the points might be set higher so that people will run the GPU client on the slower cards (1800, 1650, etc.)

The nice thing here is that I can put this AGP card in a computer with a slow CPU and really increase my PPD. The CPU speed does not much affect GPU PPD.

the only thing that can pass the video cards PPD each and every day is the 64bit linux client.

Interesting, what's the difference? I saw a reference to Cygwin in the GPU client, does F@H emulate linux on windows?

I think CupCak3 is talking about the SMP client. There is one for Linux and Mac/Intel. It automatically uses four cores for one WU, a special SMP WU.

So if you have a 4-way system it is the way to go!

Definitely, someone running dual clovertowns on a box got 5000 points from the single system in one day, but it's still depends on what WU you get. If you have a 4 way woodcrest/kentsfield/clovertown based system, you should get around atleast 2000 ppd average running the linux smp client.

Right... When it comes to hardwre I think in centigrade, but when it comes to cooking and weather, I'm stuck in farenheit.

Let's see, indoors it's about 18-20°C lately and summers get to 33-38° without air conditioning. (does that sound right?)
