x1950 crossfire on ga-p35-ds3p?

I've no experience at all with crossfire. I was reading about the internal bridges and it seemed like they were too short to span the distance between the PCIe long slots on the GA-P35-DS3P. Does this mean that x1950 family cards cannot crossfire in that mobo?

The 1950 crossfire does not use internal connectors. You must use a master card with the crossfire card and a ycable connecting the 2 cards. This cable is external.

The new HD models do use internal connector though. (Finally)

the X1950 series cards use internal bridges like Nvidia's SLI cards do, there is no need for a master card.

Do some research before posting next time.

the GA-P35-DS3P is fine for Crossfire with the X1950 series cards.

the GA-P35-DS3P is fine for Crossfire with the X1950 series cards.

My bad the X1950 Pro version does do internal but the X1950XTX uses the y cable. Sorry, I did not spell this out correctly!

I'll be sure to do the proper research in the future.
