This weekend, Walmart "rolled back" the price of the RockBand AC/DC track pack to $29.xx, from $39.xx.
I'd been a loud forum troller about how the $40 price was too high for the 18 songs (since one is already on RB2), but with a 25% price drop, I was in.
My local Oakland, CA Walmart had the "Fan Pack" for $29.97 for X360/PS3. This includes:
- AC/CD RockBand track pack
- The AC/DC "No Bull" live concert DVD
- A white "Black Ice" AC/DC T-shirt
I'm not enough of an AC/DC fan to know what the DVD or T shirt are about, but no doubt if you are a fan of AC/DC, getting these two extras for free is awesome. This is in fact an item they were selling on Black Friday for $40.
My GF and I played most of the songs this evening. If you like "big finishes", you need this track pack, since it seems like 2/3 of the songs end with big finishes.
If you're not up for a drive down to Walmart, the track pack by itself is available for $29.xx for X360/PS3 from Walmart.com. That's still a great deal.
