If you're in the market to spend $150-$200 on a video card, this is a lot better option then the 6600GT and 6800. Only the X800Pro is a better deal, if you can find it for less then $200.

Although listed as refurb, many of those who have bought agp XTPEs and pros through the clearance site have received brand new cards. In any case, comes with ATI 3 year warranty.

Or not. The X800 loses to the 6600GT in as many benchmarks as it wins. With 6600GTs routinely around $130-150, this is, by no means, the better deal.

FWIW, I believe the OP mistyped or mis-read it as X800 XL and then edited it later. I could be mistake. Certainly there have been better deals on X800's before.

i dont think so, the x800GT is pretty much neck and neck with the 66ooGT. the x800 is clearly superior

The x800 is not that much better than a 6600gt which you can find for 130-140 on a good day. If you are gonna spend 200 on graphics card wait for something else to fall into your price range.

ZZF had the X800 Pro Retail for $199 last week. I would wait for another deal like that one.

I would have to agree with everyone elses post. When you post deals, dont say "blah blah blah kills this blahblah blah" Thats more of a hardware forum post, that doesnt really belong in the deal forum. Especially when, youre wrong...

As stated, you can find 6600GT's for $130 or so these days. You can find used ones in the FS forum for like $100 so... And x800 is 'maybe' slightly faster at best, it definatly doesnt "kill" the 6600gt. Id personaly get a XFX 6800GT for $250 than bother with a x800 or 6600gt. Why spend $190 when you can spend $60 more for a significantly faster 16 pipe card with a lifetime warranty.
