X800GTO² benchmarks - detailed specs inside

I'd have given it a try if the card was <$200.00 WITH the unlocking pipes and overclocking, but I got in on the the EVGA mobo and 7800GT for $359.00 (shipped with $40 MIR). Counting the mobo for $100...I essentially got the 7800GT for $259.00.

I got in ~3-4 nights ago...the deal seems to come and go. I watch the Hotdeals forum OFTEN so I saw the deal come and go 2-3 times in the same number of days. No joke. I'd add the EVGA 7800GT card to your IE favorites and keep checking back. It may come again, but hard to say.

I just checked...Newegg is out of the EVGA mobos for the deal, BUT they have an estimated delivery day of TOMORROW (9-20-05) for the EVGA mobos. Based on the above, I wouldn't be surprised at all to see the deal back on tomorrow. Check Newegg tomorrow for this deal.

I got in 2 days ago myself, but was thinking of grabbing a second set to actually run SLI.. I figure the cards cheap enough.. and I need a second motherboard for my GF's comp.

I got in on the Deal with the 7800 GT but only for selling it later on ebay. Card sold for $370 and Motherboard for $85 without S/H.

The X850 XT PE even exceeds the 7800GT in some game benchmarks and comes pretty close in others.
