I've read a lot, but I still can't chose. I usually only buy asus board and it's probably why I can't chose a board right now, I have no idea how other brand are reliable/durable.
I want it to be future proof, I plan to keep it for 4-5y I want m.2, usb 3.1 is a bonus but I doubt I'll ever need it.
I will overclock manually and use it 24/7.
I do not need wifi or blutooth. Need to support dual sli 16x.
ATX.
I'll use a nh-d14 and some board does not have the space for it.
Will run on win 7 and win 10.
I'll add an audio card later but i need an optical out on the board.
8 usb port+ on the panel.
Under 400$ cad.
I do not care at all about the color of the board or any aestetic touch.
For the pci-e I want to use 2x 16x and 2x 4x.

I want to avoid degradation as much as possibly so I'll probably never go higher then 1.3 Does it really worth it to get a board with 12+ phase? or 8 is good enough for a 24/7 use?
Most review I've read are old it's kinda hard to find relevant information, most of the time they say something that make me doubt they even know what they are talking about sometime, or if they are getting paid to promote certain brand over an other.

Any board that have what you require will do fine in the o/c department. There are no bad X99 boards, although I wouldn't buy Gigabyte because of their m.2 implementation.

You don't want a OC board then, MSI makes some great boards and there customer service is good. With a good cooler you can off set the effects of voltage.
