not discounting higher perf but if you can get an a10-5800k for $110 or the 6800k for $135 then spending the other $50-70 on games sounds a whole lot better than buying a relatively op gpu especially on a budget. think smaller.

It all comes back to the fact that you can indeed buy a $80 cpu and a $70 discrete video card and have it perform significantly better than an integrated solution that costs nearly as much (or more). It never made any sense. Integrated is supposed to be cheaper. IGP should offer more performance per dollar vs discrete, but it simply does not. Its not even close. And when you add in the higher cost of RAM to get good performance from an IGP... it just makes it that much worse.

You can put A10-5800K in to a Slim SFF Case, you have lower power consumption, lower noise (one fan) and one less hardware to care about.
