I was in Kmart looking for the 20% coupon I saw on FW, but I could not find it. So I decided just to see if they had any 60GB PS3's since I wanted to use it on one. Well I noticed they had some stuff on clearance/reduced, so while looking around I saw they had the 20GB HDD on sale for $50. After I had someone check the price, it rang up for $25! If you can find the 20% coupon and plan on getting the Xbox 360 at 20% off, definitely get the Arcade edition and just buy the 20GB separate if it's 50 bucks or less at your Kmart. It will be like getting the HDD for free.

The 20% off coupon has expired. The 20gb HDD is should still be good if available and got a good deal on the Xbox 360 Arcade Edition.

Has any body tried using the 20% coupon by using a printed copy instead of the original? I cannot ever find the original coupon.

I read a thread about someone that did on FW.

I was able to find a whole stack of the pamphlets at Kmart. I wanted a 360, but none of the Kmarts had the new Holiday Bundle. Saving $70 on a playstation with no games just about cancels out the deal.

I think I'm going to decide to bite on the 360 and use the 20% coupons for accessories.

If you print, just do it in color. My brother has a K-Mart close to him and picked up a PS3 for me. The first time he went in, they rejected it because he used a black and white laser printer and they said they don't take photocopied coupons. He went in again with a color printout and they accepted it. If you have any problems, just have them type in the coupon number and it will ring up in the system, even if they aren't aware of the coupon.

Wow, what a trip. Went to the Kmart on 34th street in NYC. Was about to attempt to buy Guitar Hero III with my coupon, when another guy was attempting to buy a PS3 with such coupon. We were immediately turned away, and after it became apparent that the store manager would have to explain why they wouldn't not honor it, I was forced to listen to these key points:

1. It says Sears Home Electronics, Sears and Kmart are the same thing.
2. The electronic section in Kmart, is deemed "Sears home electronics" even though that isn't marked anywhere
3. They are aware of "my kind" of consumer, and have been watching all the blogs

Now I'm the last guy to say they need to honor these deals, if they messed up, they can pull it, it's crappy, but they can. However I was cordial, and polite to the store manager, but it seemed that every time I found a hole in his argument, his tone got worse and worse, until I asked him politely to lower his tone, and remember that customer service is still important in the issue, in which case he said he could care less. Now I will be figuring out how to make some sort of formal complaint about this guy. Hope you guys have better luck.

Well this is a YMMV then, I picked up a PS3 from Kmart yesterday with the 20% off coupon I printed off of the internet (printed it in color). No questions, no hassle at all. In and out in 10 minutes, only took that long because he had to go to the back to get me a PS3.

I just may try just printing it out in color. I should probably just bug the pharmacy people about it, but I do not really care if I cannot get it right now. Although they had a 60gb version which is the one I want. I have some store credit for wal-mart, and a friend of mine said wal-mart was going to have a special offer on the PS3 for BF. It will probably be just a free game, I doubt they would do a lower price. Once I know about the PS3 deal at Walmart, I will probably decide to jump on or the other.

PS - If someone still wants to get one of the xbox 360 20gb hdd's, I have one left for ~$55 shipped. Just pm me.

I also bought a PS3 with the 20% off coupon. He called the manager and she checked it out. She said it was OK but was not sure if they accepted printed coupons from the internet. She decided to just give it to me and I walked out with the 40gb PS3 for 340 after tax

I called in on Wednesday (the Astor Place store on Broadway) and even over the phone they were like no coupons accepted, I was really tempted into picking up an xbox360 at that nice price but alast it was too good to be true. However the way they responded to you was uncalled for, if they don't want your kind of business and are rude then you're 100% in sticking it to the manager.

Take it to the top. I had an issue with an ad one time and a very hateful CSM or coach as they call em at sears/kmart these days. Before said and done, i got 80 bucks below the advertised pricing vs store pricing which they wouldnt honor first time, then on top of that it was waiting for me at the door when i pulled up my truck. Was a patio table. Store manager wished I had just come talk to him personally instead of filing corp complaint. I said I did...and that bitch of a csm you have would not let me speak to you or transfer me when I called. She kept hanging up on me or not following through with the transfer.

I too never cursed or raised my voice.

The 20% off coupon is dead for electronics....as of this morning.

What I mean: The coupon scans and then states that the item isn't valid in the computer. We tried scanning something else, a digital camera, as a test...same results.

Yeah I filed a complaint with their coporate office, and a regional manager will be calling me sometime this week. I've worked retail (mind you back in high school) but I would have never said, or acted the way this guy did.

Thanks for the info. I was actually going to try one last time to get the coupon, but I was going to use it in electronics only. I guess someone in corp finally caught on and decided they needed to modify the coupon. I might still go by get the last 360 20gb HDD they have left.

Well I can confirm that ones simply printed out on a standard laser jet printer work with no issues. I used mine yesterday for a Xbox 360 Premium (w/HDMI) and got it for $280 in store (Down from $350 with coupon). The cashier called the Electronics manager, who called the store manager and gave the green light. I used another two coupons today at a different location with no issues on two other items without managerial approval. The cashiers couldn't scan mine at either location but just simply typed in the redemption code and it was all groovy.

I suggest you guys try other locations if you're having problems with a particular store.
