Also they really only need to make sure microsoft peripherals work the xbox 360. I mean sure I would prefer to use my logitech mouse, but if I could at least have a keyboard and mouse it would directly influence my game buying decisions. I might even buy a game on both the console and PC for different gaming situations.
I'm on the other side of that debate. If you get to use a kybd&mouse then I'll be forced to as well, or else get owned in every MP match. The primary issue for myself, is this; I don't want to have to sit@a table? use a tray? hook up my 360 to my monitor and sit@my desk, or WTF ever other option for them I'll have to use. My 360 is on a HDTV in the LR, and kicked back with my feet up, controller in hand, is how I want to roll when console gaming. I'll play on PC if I want the other experience.
So I hope MS doesn't decide to kill my relaxation factor by turning it into a pseudoPC gaming experience for 1st&3rd person shooters. There is a learning curve to using the controller, but once you adapt, and since everyone else is using the controller too, it works out just fine IMO.
