Anyways you are right that there is a big difference. I think price gauging of food, water, and gas can be considered illegal if it gets out of hand. It happens, because of the high demand, but the sad part is people will still buy it due to the needs/wants.

I was talking yesterday to a friend who does business directly with microsoft and has built up a few relationships with some of the employees within microsoft. He told me that Asia and Europe will have an excellent supply of xbox 360s. The NTSC units for USA and Canada are in short supply by about 78% of projected demand because the manufacturing plant in Guatemala was closed for a while. Gamestop and EBGames are only going to have like 30-50 per store and Compusa like 25. Now understand that the majority are premium systems.
Also, you will have to have a premiun system with the addon hard drive in order to download the emulator to play the top 100 games from the previous system

Well im opretty sure eb/gamestops had 50 preorders there first day they took preorders, i know mine did. So therefor unless they got there as soon as preorders started, which would be hard to do because noone knew when they started, then these people are not gaurunteed their preorder on shipping day...... I know somoene who preorders just a week after they started and they are like 75 th or something and may not get theirs till the end of novmember/mid decemeber from what the eb employee told them..
