At $169, that is not a bad price for an upscaling DVD player that plays divx / xvid and NetFlix. Does the browser have flash 9 support to play Hulu / fancast videos as well? (I have no intention of gaming on it)

The 360 doesn't have a browser. You can install PlayOn to a PC to stream Netflix, Hulu, CBS, YouTube, ESPN and more to your television. It is in beta right now and will cost $30 however.

You'll need a 512MB memory card or a HDD for the big update that is coming out on Nov 18th because it requires 128MB. If you order the Arcade, you can get a 512MB memory card for free or a 20GB HDD for $19.99 from MS at Xbox.com

Darn, I really wanted to hop on board but Lego Indiana Jones and Kung Fu Panda? Sorry but I'd rather have one game that I might actually play, have to pass on a 360 yet again.

Not a bad thing really, with all the PC games coming out - Diablo 3, Fallout 3 - just to name a few, I'd rather drop another $200 on a new vid card and call it good. Thanks though

All these have the LiteOn drives, so there's really no reason to be voiding your warranty by opening the case since the process of modding them is a PITA. With that said, if its the Falcon chipset just play it until it dies. You'll still be under warranty for 3 years after the purchase date
