Xbox 360 bundles in stock at Gamestop.com(Looks dead again)

anyone know definatively if we can just return all the excess garbage to a local gamestop for a refund?

Please note that purchases from Gamestop.com CANNOT be returned to Gamestop, Funcoland, Babbages Etc, Software Etc., Planet X and Super Software store locations. All returns must be made to GameStop.com

Returned product(s) must be in the original packaging and include any manuals, cabling and accessories in saleable condition. We reserve the right to limit returns to unopened or defective products. Defective product(s) will be replaced with a like item, upon return.

We do not accept returns of:

- Any product(s) returned more than 30 days after delivery.
- Any product(s) that has been opened (taken out of its plastic wrap).
- Any product(s) not in its original condition, is damaged, played, or is missing parts.

Please do not send us product(s) that do not meet the return criteria listed above, as we do not issue refunds for nonqualifying items and cannot return the items to you.

To return a product:

1. Send an e-mail to us or call us at (800) 883-8895. Our customer service center is open from 8am to 8pm CST, Monday through Friday, and 8am to 7pm Saturday and Sunday.

2. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item(s). You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 7 to 14 business days of our receiving your return.

3. If your return is due to our error, we will add your return shipping costs to your refund.

here is what the order status looks like for anyone interested, i plan on returning all the excess garbage. interestingly it says ETA 11/22/2005 for the xbox premium, i guess they need to get that changed to 12/12

I don't see anything in what you quoted that says you can return pieces of a bundle. Seems as though you're taking an awfully big risk considering right in the TOS it says they keep non-qualifying returns.

well it also says to call them. i'll see what they say, but I can't imagine it would be against TOS, anyway, if it is I'll ebay the bundle and probably end up paying around $500 for the 360 and 1 year replacement plan, no big deal anyway

Assuming the people who would buy it off ebay haven't already purchased it from there or some other vendor. The main reason for price hikes like that is limited availability. This 2nd release will alleviate that somewhat, so you can't assume that it would net the same profit.

they can just wait till the market is flooded with these systems.

(during the wait, just break out the old PS2, PC, PSP, Gamecube games)

warning. someone on gamefaqs reported buying a bundle from them back in november and they haven't gotten their system yet. Also gamestop started sending out parts of the order seperately and shipped it overnight and charging the customer that extra charge (his example was $60 shipping charge on one game, ridiculous). I am going to call them in a bit and make sure they don't try to screw me also. if you ordered this i recommend giving them a call to make sure they are only going to ship it all together.

What worries me here is the "ETA Pre-Order 11/22" status of the console. I'm wondering if they're selling bundles without any stock in hand. Plus, if they're shipping everything seperately, what's the point of receiving your games and accessories a month or two in advance to the shipment of your console?

I wish you the best of luck anyhow - I'm holding off on my Xbox 360 purchase until Microsoft fixes the scratched disc and overheating issues.
