Xbox 360 bundles in stock at Gamestop.com(Looks dead again)

Anybody do the math on the Steel bundle? Seems almost as much a hike as ebay. Basically the Costco $479 bundle plus 6 games, so it appears they're jacking the price about $250.

Edit: I didn't see they add the Skin Gels, that really sweetens the deal!!

Changed? More like raped.
They took away a controller, 50, and the 2 play n charge, 20 each. so what was somewhat reasonable, has been turned into a total ripoff. They took away about 100 dollars of pretty useful stuff and replaced it with gel grips and strat guides...better off just giving money to the ebay ppl.

Funniest thing about these guys is they have a ton of pre orders they have yet to fulfill but somehow they manage to throw 2 more crazy high bundles in the mix and get them shipped out this week, lol

I just called my local EB and they told me that I'm gonna get a Xbox 360 in January. About 10 days ago they told me before Christmas. I pre-ordered on 9/1.

OK, here's an update for people wanting to know if they'll take returns on individual items other than the 360.

I called 3 different EB Games/Gamestops (same company) and the first one said that they don't. The second said that they will but they consider it USED (eff those aholes). The third said "Oh yea, definitely." Now, part of me knew that I should get uncomfortable again and get ready to brave the mall ASAP, but I just couldn't pull myself together. So I'm going to repeat the phone routine tomorrow and see where they'll let me take it. I'm a little concerned that once I plop $600 worth of stuff on their counter that they might change their minds. I'll give it a shot and report back.

I suggest following a similar route, obviously.

I would make sure to get the name of the guy that said " no problem" and go there. Forget returning them as "used" you will get RAPED. Worst case, you could ebay or FS/FT the extras. Little bit of extra hassle, but better than keeping some of those asstastic games,guides etc on your dime.

Well... I was denied at the B&M store that told me they would accept my returns yesterday. I did manage to remember and drop the name of the employee that told me "yes" yesterday, but it didn't do any good.

The manager tried to claim that there's not even a mechanism in their system for accepting online orders. I have no way of knowing their procedures for certain, but I'm fairly suspicious of that so I plan to call there tomorrow and ask if I can return a single game that I bought online. Maybe the bag of accessories prompted a lie.

Oh well, the whole thing is on eBay now. As long as I don't LOSE money.

Think this might actually be true, it looks like gamestop's online and B&M stores share a name only, and remain seperate other than that. It says right on their site returns aren't accepted in store, and they don't charge sales tax to most states, even though those states have gamestops in them.
