I'd almost be inclined to agree with you but there are far fewer good looking games for PS2 than xbox or gamecube, that alone is enough to make me want an xbox because almost all of the PS2 games look like crap on my hi def lcd. Socom 3? Sometimes I wonder if I put my glasses on because the visuals are all blurry aside from the NPCs.. ugh.

I personally don't see how this is a valid comparison. Of course the PS2 visuals look shoddy, it's been out for 4 years and the xbox had an entire year (or so) of development time over the PS2. Only a few PS2 game even support progressive scan and you have to have a slim PS2 or a SCPH-50001 to even use that.
