XBOX 360 REGISTRATION

We all fear the red ring of death.

I bought my 360 from my friend who registered his 360 under his name and address already. We made a few changes on live and whatnot where we changed his information to my info.

As far as registration goes, can I call MS and ask them to put the registration under me? OR would they say something like "THE WARRANTY ISN'T TRANSFERABLE"?

Call them and ask them. Maybe they'll just change the registered address and make it yours.
