So I said:

But then they sent me stock pictures... and there was a lot of 360's in the pic... lol..

Is there a way I can trick them into sending first? or help me think of a way to show that they are a scam.

You tell them you know they are a scam, and now you want to "trick" them into sending it first.

 Yeah sure, dude. Go ahead and scam these guys. It'll be a snap.
And while you're at it: Why not head down to Columbia and get 50 tons of Bogota's Premium on your credit card? I'm sure uncle Escobar would be cool with that.

There was a story in the New Yorker magazine a few weeks ago about a well known psychologist from the Northeast who sucumbed to a Nigerian scam. He was well known for developing a personality profile tool used by many psychologists and psychiatrists. I believe he had a PhD or at least a Masters degree.
In the story the author of the article had gone to Nigeria and visited the particular town where these scams originate. Each modern house had at least two vehicles such as a Humvee, Rolls, Lexus, etc. Each house had a satellite dish. They had their own private army. Apparently this particular group which numbers in the dozens or hundreds (no one is sure), rakes in millions of dollars a year from these stupid come-ons we get in our email inbox and the websites they own.
This particular psychologist was taken for around $500,000 in approx two years time.
They started by sending him a check for $10,000 to deposit for them as the first step in getting "millions of dollars" out of Nigeria. It was a stolen check from a company that was later cancelled. The psychologist is in jail for a number of years for depositing stolen checks, illegally diverting funds from a trust fund, bouncing checks, etc, all due to his greed.
A fascinating story about how even a "well educated" and "intelligent" person can be lead by their greed to sucumb to this stuff.
Do not even play with these people, they have members here in North America, they are not afraid to do what is necessary to keep their money. Treat them as you would organized crime. Keep your distance.
And you just gave them your personal info by contacting them.

Do not buy/sell from overseas using Western Union or you'll find out the hard way why you shouldn't.

Nigerian scams are so common now, that your thread is like posting an email of someone asking you "to verify" your bank account or credit card number and you're not sure if it's a scam... It's a scam, tell your friends and family.

Here's a good story for you all to read when you're bored and have time to kill: http://forum.419eater.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=66460

Nice link. Ignore the troll(s), he probably fell for one or wants this one to be true.

Edit: Holy crap! One sucker in that story paid out $242 million to the scammers! Thats gotta be a record! And another guy who fell for a nigerian scam was a congressman who stole and commited fraud to try and get more money to give to these guys in the hopes that he'd get paid.

Edit 2: And the guy the story is about, after the end where he was sentnanced to two years in jail, he STILL didn't belive he was scammed, he thinks that the original "legit" people were replaced with others who got him.

?I think they were legitimately trying to use me and my resources to get their funds out of Nigeria into a safe place where they could have access to them,? he said. Worley wasn?t sure whom to blame for the bad checks, though Nduka was suspect. ?Somehow there was a buyoff, a payoff, or something that went on there, and then it got switched to the point where I was then dealing with fraudsters,? he said.

problem is, if it were that easy to get them in trouble, they would all be out of business. Best bet it to probably just stay away.

Yeah. And even if you DO get xboxes when you order, they will almost certainly have been ordered from things like stolen credit cards. So you can potentially get in trouble for buying stolen goods also.

As you say, its best to stay away from anything like this.

:Q I haven't seen you post since the forever long corsair RAM thread in HD.

OP, not worth your time, just let it go.

Edit: OP, why is this posted in HD? You know it is a scam, you only posted for idea's on how to mess with them. This should be in Off Topic..... or no where at all.

"brand new in boxes with complete accessories. They are all tested and working in good condition"

"Brand new in boxes"? and "Tested"? How did they test it while they were still in the box? Oh - oh - oh must be that new IR adapter, that M$ provided especially to these suppliers , to allow them to test these for their valued customers!
