I think the person who wrote this is a total idiot. I own an xbox and must say that it is better than PS2 (which I had for over a year and a half). I can't comment on GC because I've never played it. The person says that the harddrive was a mistake, but I disagree. I put a modchip in my xbox and put an 80gig hdd in there. Now I have about 15 games copied onto the harddrive along with 5 movies and still have more than 50% disk space free. I don't need the game disk anymore for those games that are on the harddrive. This is a huge factor for me. Security-wise, I think microsoft was counting on people developing mod-chips for it because it would be a huge selling point, but it wouldn't look like they intended it to be that way. Sure, the xbox may not have a huge market share right now, but this is the first version of the xbox made by Microsoft. You can't expect it to dominate the market when it hasn't even been out for a year yet. Game-wise, the xbox is on par with PS2, but they are lacking certain big named games like GTA3. GTA3 has driven tons of PS2 sales alone, not the entire array of games. I think that in another year we will be looking at a different story because better games will be out for xbox by then.
