Hmmm,

Is it me or did Amazon got a watered down Xbox. Harddisk is only 8 GB...isnt it suppose to be 20 GB?

Anyway, this thing is becoming cheaper. I love things when it becomes cheaper.

The HD as always been 8g. Some came with 10g HDs but only 8g is available (unless you hack it).

If you are serious, PM me. I've got a PS2 in absolutely pristine condition with 7 games, two controllers and a memory card. I haven't played my PS2 more than two or three times since I got an Xbox. I'd love to trade for a second Xbox so I can have one in different rooms.

If you care so much about Halo look into Metroid on the GameCube. The console + game is cheaper, and it's an even better game.

It's a great game, but so is Halo. There's no point saying one is better than the other. They are different enough that it's really an apples v. oranges thing. Metroid Prime is fun, but Halo's got some of the most innovative stuff that I've ever seen on a console.

Heck yeah! I'm a hardcore PC gamer, but Halo ranks up in the top 10 shooters, period. Now if only it'd recgonize a USB KB and mouse on the Xbox, I'd be in heaven.

Well I PM'd and offered to trade my PS2 for his Xbox, and I have yet to hear from MazdaMP. I hope he was serious about wanting to trade, but maybe he decided to keep his Xbox after all. Maybe that's a sign for you guys wondering which system is better.

You mean because PS2 was first to market, and Xbox followed? Reminds me of the proverb, "the first shall be last, and the last shall be first." PS2 was first in my entertainment center, but now Xbox is first in my heart.

Halo PC should be out in the next few months. Here's some Screenshots and the four page Gamespy article. True multiplayer (with additional maps, weapons and vehicles), plus the accuracy of a mouse. I just hope Gearbox is able to retain the co-op feature. The biggest reason I bought my Xbox was to play Halo. Once this game hits the shelves my Xbox will mostly be used for DVD playback.

Last I heard, Co-op may be out of the game. They're having a hard time getting it to work.

Is a $20 price drop that big of a deal? I bought a refurb one back in October for $150. I really don't see $20 being that big of a deal to sway someone's decision.
