Xbox games now at Frys.

I was at Frys yesterday buying OEM 512MB DIMMS for $28 a piece when I noticed that they already had several of Xbox games on shelves, including DoA3. Kinda silly selling games before you get the machines to play 'em on, isn't it?

Oh, this was at Frys in Fremont, btw.

My local Walmart had Halo and DOA3 for sale a few days ago when I was shopping for groceries. Also had some GameCube games, along with a playable GC demo machine that was running Luigi's Mansion. I wasn't too impressed.

Best Buy had a whole section of games already out today too along with a playable kiosk.

But these are PC bootlegs! This is what MS offers? LOL! I have been playing these games for a long while now on my PC.

I think he just means that a lot of X-Box games are PC-ish, which I don't think is true. Or that Halo should be a PC game

No you can not play xbox games with gf3 and dvd drive. XBOX is a console.

Happened for the PS2 launch as well about 2-4 weeks before the console games where already being sold.

People like me would simply like to buy the games now and the moment we get the console try em all out

I wonder if Wal Mart will have Halo for a decent price.
